Duet That Sang Lovin These Feelings Again

Film this: You've orchestrated the perfect at-dwelling engagement for your significant other, featuring candles, wine, and a lovingly domicile-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But only as your person texts you that they're on their fashion, yous realize that you take no idea what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. After all, you tin't have your early 2000s guilty pleasure songs come upwardly on shuffle while you're trying to stare lovingly into your partner's optics (aught ruins the mood like the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the commencement of "Soulja Male child." And yes, that case is based on a truthful story).

Anyway, I've got you covered with my list of the most beautiful, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs always written (in my humble opinion). You lot'll have your beat out/partner/Bumble appointment swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Most romantic lyrics: "I'yard in your heart, I'g in your dream/ So fuck the world it's yous and me"

Rationale: When the outside world becomes cruel, many couples turn inward and develop that us-confronting-the-world mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what information technology's like to feel shut to someone, spending much of this song describing the little things he loves about his partner, similar her "stained glass" optics, butterscotch-scented pare, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every way, and Mac delivers them with his characteristic rawness.

"These Arms of Mine" - Otis Redding

Most romantic lyrics: "These arms of mine, they are alone/ Lonely and feeling blueish/ These arms of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting you"

Rationale: This vocal hits me right in the chest. Information technology's impossible not to feel your arms and chest agonized like Reddings' when he sings about burning to hold his lover. The music crescendos around his smooth vocalism as he begs,  "And if you would let them concur you/ Oh, how grateful I would be." Information technology's such a sweet, hostage plea for honey, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, as well.

"Ex Cistron" - Lauryn Hill

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "See, no i loves you more me/ and no 1 ever volition"

Rationale: No i knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite like Lauryn Hill does. In "Ex Factor" (and on this whole album, let's exist real), she's vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her beau. We recognize straightaway that her relationship is toxic, but Hill'due south honesty is and so beautiful that nosotros humble listeners take no choice but to sit, transfixed, and mind.

"Skinny Beloved" - Bon Iver

Near romantic lyrics: "Told my dearest to wreck it all/ Cutting out all the ropes and allow me fall"

Rationale: When this song came out in 2007, I was in middle school. I could non stop singing it as I traipsed through my firm, about-tears equally I crooned most "the sink of blood and crushed veneer," as though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic love affairs.

Nevertheless, this song still holds up. Bon Iver is a principal at depicting what it's like to fully surrender yourself to someone while aware that they may injure you in the end. I still sing this vocal while I lounge around my piffling studio apartment, cartoon on real-life experiences this time, though I assure you that none of them involved claret-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, face to face/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I need you lot to love me/ I need you today/ Give me to me your leather, have from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its most poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself then performed information technology with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is beautiful in and of itself, but their chemistry and passion for each other makes it all the more than impactful. An ex played this for me one time, unprompted, and I remember thinking, My God, dude. Why would y'all practice this to me?

Wrecked.

The Way Y'all Await Tonight" - Frank Sinatra

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never change/ keep that incoherent charm/ won't y'all please arrange information technology?/ 'Cause I honey you/ Just the style you look tonight"

Rationale: Ah, aye. The song that plays at every wedding on earth. Popular songs are popular for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of dearest that it depicts. In addition to Sinatra's version, I'm besides partial to Fred Astaire's rendition in the 1936 film Swing Time and the sweet nevertheless tongue-in-cheek visuals go along with it.

"Everlasting Calorie-free" - The Black Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Allow me be your everlasting low-cal/ Your railroad train going away from pain/ Love is the coal that makes this train roll/ Let me exist your everlasting light"

Rationale: If you read the lyrics without the music, the whole song sounds kind of like a belatedly nineteenth century verse form. The beloved in this song is so pure and hopeful, and yous'll definitely gain cool-points by playing The Black Keys on a commencement date.

"To Know Him Is To Love Him" - Amy Winehouse

Most romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to love, love, honey him/ Only to come across that smile/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No one does unbridled dearest like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful voice takes center stage in this Phil Spector cover, and if you're not already in honey, information technology will make you desire to be.

"Similar Real People Practice" - Hozier

Most romantic lyrics: "I will not enquire you where you came from/ I will not ask you, neither should you/ Honey, but put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should just buss like real people do"

Rationale: Hither, Hozier is trying to convince his beloved interest to forget that they both have pasts (who doesn't?) and to just love him. At that place's a sense that both people in the song consider themselves odd in some way (once more, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners like each other for ages. "Similar Existent People Do" reminds us of how miraculous information technology feels to dear and exist loved dorsum.

"Tin can't Accept My Eyes Off Y'all" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "You're just too good to be true/ Tin can't take my eyes off of you/ Yous'd exist like heaven to touch on/ I wanna hold you so much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my home country of New Jersey: They just don't make 'em like this anymore. And it's true―this song manages to balance emotional and sexual yearning without being crude.

And just... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings nigh loving his girl so much that he cheers God he's live. My Lord. They really just do not make 'em quite like this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Ocean

Virtually romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They burn from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my mind, male child/ Running on my listen, boy"

Rationale: This is Frank Bounding main's most criminally underrated song and I will fight anyone who has anything negative to say about it. In fact, I one time fabricated a very loud, spirited defence of this vocal when I was in high school, right later Sea's ill-received operation of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. It'southward about a broken, tired person coming back to their pure, enduring love later a cracking deal of time has passed. Information technology'south especially meaningful, in my opinion, considering Ocean penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Take Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Most romantic lyrics: "'Cause I love y'all more I could ever promise/ And you take me the way I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-girl beloved songs of the early 2000s, and this ane was her near popular. Michaelson rejoices in having found a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and purchase him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. Information technology'south a promise to love someone forever.

"I'm Not Expressionless" - P!nk

Most romantic lyrics: "Right across the cigarette and the devilish grin/You're my crack of sunlight/ You lot can do the math a one thousand ways/ But you tin can't erase the facts/ That others come up and others go/ But yous e'er come back"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk's music. In "I'm Not Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic love song almost being a flawed man deeply in beloved with another flawed human being. Waxing poetic about her and her boyfriend'southward (her future husband, Cary Hart, by the way) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés nearly love in favor of something far more than accurate and affecting.

"Hannah Chase" - Vampire Weekend

Most romantic lyrics: "A man of faith said hidden eyes could see what I was thinkin'/ I only smiled and told him/ That was just true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how you wound me with your beautiful words! In this vocal, our narrator seems to be moving around the U.S. with his beloved Hannah until she grows homesick for the east coast. Having lived in New England for around vii years, I'm partial to this song for its "freezing beaches" references, but it'southward also a gentle tribute to the manner fourth dimension glides away when you're with someone you love.

"A Song For Yous" - Donny Hathaway

Most romantic lyrics: "I dearest you lot in a place/ Where there's no space or time/ I dear you for my life/ You're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Call up when we were together"

Rationale: In that location have been many versions of this song, but this one's my favorite. It was besides Amy Winehouse'south favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that one tin't help but feel he'due south reciting a memoir when he sings his apology to a woman he neglected to settle down with because he was too busy performing around the world.

"Maps" - Aye Yeah Yeahs

Most romantic lyrics: "Don't stray/ My kind'southward your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yes, this song is xc percent only Karen O singing "Wait, they don't dearest yous similar I love you," simply information technology'southward so powerful! If you say something the right way, and the accompanying music is expert plenty, there'due south no need to embellish much more than. Proof: Beyoncé conspicuously nods to this vocal in her 2016 single "Hold Up." "Maps" endures, over a decade later, across genres.

"If I Ain't Got You" - Alicia Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some but want everything/ But everything ways nothing/ If I ain't got you"

Rationale: This vocal is all the more than touching when you remember that she wrote it merely every bit she was starting time to get famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or endless life would all hateful nothing if she didn't take her human.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Camber

Most romantic lines: "I am the daughter my parents made/ Why don't you love me anyway/ 'Crusade I honey the way you accept up infinite"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Lead vocaliser Felix Walworth delivers this song then earnestly that his voice literally cracks during that last line. I've never heard a simpler or more than startlingly accurate delineation of admiration than loving the way someone takes up space.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Nearly romantic lyrics: "To be fifty-fifty more honest/ No one thinks well-nigh y'all/ The fashion I practice" (Translated from Spanish)

Rationale: Shakira spends about of this vocal laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to brand coffee, that she doesn't understand soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and then proceeds to ask her human to love her anyhow.

"I Found You" - Alabama Shakes

Nearly romantic lyrics: "I remember all them lonely days/ I traveled out on my own/ And so you brought me everything/ You made my business firm a home"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. So who amend to listen to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The Iv Seasons

Nigh romantic lines: "I'd change her sad rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't let me/ 'Cause they say that she's no expert."

Rationale: Another Four Seasons song, yeah. I'm from Bailiwick of jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional beloved for a daughter much poorer than he is, fantasizing about replacing her tattered apparel with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the song by crying, "I love yous just the manner you are."

He wants to give everything to someone who tin can offer him nada material. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving Yous" - Led Zeppelin

Near romantic lyrics: "Merely baby, since I've been loving you lot, yep/ I'm about to lose my worried listen/ Oh, yep"

Rationale: Man, these lyrics look then underwhelming when written down sans musical accessory. It's tragic.

What makes this song and so romantic, to me, is the organ and bass piece of work past John Paul Jones pair with Robert Plant'due south searing vocals. It's a power dejection song that hits you correct in the gut. If drastic desire were a audio, this would exist it.

"You Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

About romantic lines: "If you don't worry 'bout where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What social club I went to with my homies/ Baby, don't worry, you know that you got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this live. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll always exist loyal to him, while Black Thought (atomic number 82 MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. It's the all-time love song in hip hop, hands down.

"(You lot Brand Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Most romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and found/ You came along to merits it/ I didn't know just what was wrong with me/ 'Til your kiss helped me proper noun information technology"

Rationale: We should heal ourselves rather than wait effectually for someone to heal us, but that doesn't hateful that dearest can't exist a healing experience. It'due south actually romantic to thank someone for making you feel good, and that's precisely what this song (written by the flawless Carole King) is about.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Most romantic lyrics: "We tin can't help but follow, she's Buddha, just lookout man her/ She moves like an former gypsy woman but swears she's a daughter/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the girl of the hour"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this song for Jade Castrinos when they were both still dating and withal the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The song is a serenity love letter to Castrinos―you lot could imagine Ebert singing it to her at night past the campfire while the rest of the band is asleep (that'southward this band's vibe, really). It's a shame that we no longer go to lookout the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, only at to the lowest degree we'll e'er accept this hippie love song.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Most romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ You know who I am/ You know I tin can't allow yous/ Slide through my easily/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me away"

Rationale: I of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s also happened to write one of the most poignant songs nigh love and devotion. This is about a long, deep intimacy between two people, and of existence physically unable to resist the person you lot adore.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

Most romantic lyrics: "I would sleep better on your flooring/ Than I would ever in my bed/ And if your carpet makes my face itch/ Information technology'd still exist heaven in my caput"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the above lyrics, sung with lead singer Brian Sella's signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this girl, promising to practice his guitar every night, to sleep on her floor without complaint, and to to ignore his doctor'southward advice―all to win her beloved. We shouldn't have to debase ourselves for love (*rolls eyes* yep, yeah yeah), but this is art. And if we're being honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who'southward prayed for their love to be reciprocated.

"Loving You" - Elvis Presley

Most romantic lyrics: "If I'g seen with someone new/ Don't exist blue, don't you be bluish/ I'll exist faithful, I'll be true/ Always true, true to yous"

Rationale: Elvis tells his dear non to go jealous or to believe the hype effectually him and other women, reassuring her that she's the one for him. Although multiple sources have claimed that Elvis did, indeed, crook on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest honey song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Most romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ But back home he'll ever run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing about a traveling musician who tin't get over his sweetheart no matter how many other women he meets. She always ends up resurfacing in his mind, and eventually, he ever returns to her.

"My Old Man" - Joni Mitchell

Nigh romantic lyrics: "He's my sunshine in the forenoon/ He'south my fireworks at the end of the day/ He's the warmest chord I ever caput/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, baby"

Rationale: Mitchell's soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her human relationship in this song, insisting throughout that, "We don't need no piece of paper from the city hall." She's saying that she doesn't need external validation of the human relationship―this human gives her all she needs to experience secure in their bail.

"Devil In a New Dress" - Kanye West, Rick Ross

Most romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The way yous look should exist a sin, yous my sensation"

Rationale: Kanye Due west is a pretty polarizing figure, but this is still one of my favorite albums of all time. It's a bittersweet tribute to his infamous relationship with Amber Rose, and this song encapsulates the frequently-sexy, ever-complicated connection between two people who aren't good for each other, yet can't stay away from ane another.

"Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Common

Most romantic lyrics: "But that is all backside me/ 'Cause now there is no other/ My dear is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Beloved of my life"

Rationale: Conventional advice tells united states to fall in honey with someone who can be our  friend, besides. This song is most two lifelong all-time friends who notice their way back to each other later fourth dimension spent autonomously. With her famously fallacious vocalization, Erykah Badu captures the joy of beingness truly known by 1's partner.

"A Lord's day Kind of Dearest" - Etta James

About romantic lyrics: "I want a Dominicus kind of love/ A love to concluding past Saturday night/ I desire to know it's more than honey at starting time sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this point earlier. If Etta James were to accept written this song today, she would have been explaining that she was sick of one-night-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that get nowhere. She'd exist saying she was tired of sweaty strangers in bars shouting into her ear, over deafening music, request if she wants to have a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and binge Schitt's Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May nosotros all discover that Sunday kind beloved.

"Infant I'thousand Yours" - Arctic Monkeys

Almost romantic lyrics: "Babe, I'grand yours/ And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the heaven/ Yours until the rivers all run dry/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This vocal sounds like it was written in the '50s or '60s. In some ways, it'south your run-of-the-mill slow song, but there's something charming about the Arctic Monkeys being the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Will Exist Loved" - Maroon five

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't heed spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' rain"

Rationale:I remember listening to this song in middle school, wishing that the boy I had a crush on would honey me enough to stand exterior my window in the rain. In hindsight, that would have been awkward and inconvenient to explain to my mother, and these days I would probably detect such beliefs creepy (when I'g in my pajamas in my apartment, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the last matter I demand is a human being standing outside, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), merely the sentiment of this song still stands.

"Considering the Night" - Patti Smith

Most romantic lyrics: "Come on, now, endeavor and understand/ The way I feel when I'thou in your easily/ Take my hand, come up undercover/ They can't hurt you now"

Rationale: In this song, which was originally written by lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he's safe with her. If you've read Smith's volume But Kids, you'll probably mind to this song and think of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to information technology down the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Most romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his arms/ And he speaks to me softly/ I see the globe through rose-colored spectacles" (Translated from French)

Rationale: You definitely know this song. It'southward the go-to for every romantic scene in every American moving-picture show about France. And, granted, it'due south a great choice for a dinner appointment, especially if y'all desire to become a little slow dancing started.

"Someday" - The Growlers

About romantic lyrics: "Just stay for 1 more dark/ One twenty-four hours you're gonna be my wife/ You'll never have to worry once again/ I'm gonna be your man"

Rationale: It sounds atomic number 82 vocalizer Brooks Nielsen's now-wife was getting really sick of his bullshit, and that he wrote this song as a plea to go her to say. Information technology's poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and it would have worked on me, besides, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Be Prissy" - The Beach Boys

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't it be dainty if we were older?/ Then we wouldn't have to wait so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who's already certain about who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And he'southward wishing that the rest of his life could start right now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Most romantic lyrics: "Not really sure how to experience about information technology/ Somethin' in the way you movement/ Makes me experience like I can't live without you"

Rationale: Dear isn't a formula. There'due south no real logic to why nosotros autumn in love with some people but not others, and Rihanna hits the nail on the head when she says information technology'south just "something in the way [he] move[south]." It's reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Most romantic lyrics: "Something in the way she moves / Attracts me similar no other lover / Something in the manner she woos me / I don't want to leave her at present"

Rationale:This vocal is a slow, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned it, writing that he wasn't certain what exactly triggered his love or whether it would abound.  All he knew was that the beloved was there, and that that should be enough.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Virtually romantic lyrics: "And they love each other and then/ Androgynous/ Closer than we know, love each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is most two non-binary people falling in love, which is pretty cool for a vocal from 1984. Our principal characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, dearest each other regardless of gender. The Replacements make a compelling argument about why traditional gender roles and clothing should make no difference if you're truly in love with someone.

"I'll Exist Seeing You lot" - Billie Holiday

Almost romantic lyrics: "I'll notice you in the morning sun/ In every lovely summer's day/ In everything that's right and gay/ I'll e'er think of you"

Rationale: Y'all know when y'all're freshly in love (or heartbroken), and everything reminds yous of that person? That'south what this vocal is about. Everything around Holiday―the natural globe, a park, a cafe, a carousel―is a fond reminder of her dearest.

"Sunday Candy" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "You've got to move information technology slowly/ Take information technology in my body similar it'southward holy/ I've been waiting for you for the whole calendar week/ I've been praying for you, you lot're my Sunday candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop collective that boasts members such every bit Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the former of which is featured heavily on this song). Jamila Woods performs the chorus to this vocal so sweetly that it's easy to forget the sexual implications, and she and Adventure tell the story of a couple that spends a calendar week at a time missing each other, absorbed in thoughts of one some other until they're finally reunited.

"Come up As You Are" - Nirvana

Most romantic lyrics: "Come up as you are/ As you were/ As I desire you to be"

Rationale: There are many interpretations of what this song ways, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. But, to me, "Come As You Are" works as the ultimate grunge love song; as a hope to love and appreciate someone just the mode they are.

"Please, Delight, Please" - James Brown

Almost romantic lyrics: "Baby please, baby delight, please me/ Baby please, infant delight don't become/ Don't go, I said baby, don't babe/ I love you and so"

Rationale: This song is almost entirely comprised of James Brownish repeating "delight," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers about that earlier its release. Only, like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps," this track's magic lies in the passion with which it's delivered–and James Brown is nothing if non passionate.

"I Will Always Dear You" - Dolly Parton

Most romantic lyrics: "And I hope life volition treat you kind/ And I hope that you accept all/ That you e'er dreamed of/ Oh, I do wish you joy/ And I wish yous happiness/ Only above all this/ I wish y'all love"

Rationale: Without a doubt, you're familiar with Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will Always Love You," but I dearest Dolly Parton's soft-spoken, country version as well. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a slap-up culling for when you want to hear this song on a quiet evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Most romantic lyrics: "And I wish you lot all the love in the world/ Simply nearly of all, I wish information technology from myself/ And the songbirds keep singing/ Like they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac'due south members were notorious for hooking up within their ranks, and Christine McVie (writer and primary vocalizer on this vocal) was no exception. This is a unique love song, because it does unconditional honey unlike any other: It illustrates how information technology's entirely possible to honey someone and desire the best for them while accepting, admitting sadly, that you might not exist that best thing.

"Showtime Day of My Life" - Bright Eyes

Almost romantic lyrics: "But I realized I demand yous/ And I wondered if I could come dwelling"

Rationale: This Vivid Optics track makes me wish I was better at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his beloved, telling her, "I'm glad I didn't dice before I met you," and asking for permission to arroyo. It's an exercise in startling honesty, and the result, similar the whole album, is profound.

"Sea of Love" - Cat Power

Most romantic lyrics: "Come with me, my dearest/ To the sea, the ocean of love/ I wanna tell you/ How much I dearest you lot "

Rationale: Originally, the last vocal on this listing was going to be T.I.'s "Whatever You lot Like" because I'g determined that it will play at my hymeneals one 24-hour interval (I'm non kidding), but "Sea of Honey" is besides romantic to turn down. With minimal instrumentation, Cat Power delivers a brief but heartfelt dear letter whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. x/10.
